Daniel Passley scored 15 points off the bench to lead the StFX X-Men to an 84-69 win over the Acadia Axemen Thursday afternoon in the second quarter-final game of the Rod and Joan Memorial men’s basketball tournament, hosted by the Dalhousie Tigers.

X-Men top rival Capers 102-91

The Capers gave a valiant effort Wednesday and it nearly paid off. They were tight with the X-Men most of the night until a stretch in the third quarter when StFX pulled away for a 102-91 win. The Capers fall to 0-7 with the loss, while the X-Men improve to 3-3.
